MPO-to-MPO patch cords, MPO breakout harnesses and LC/LC-HD patch cords address different high-density optical connections. Straight MPO cords link compatible multifibre interfaces, while harnesses transition from an MPO interface to separate branches. LC-HD uses a flexible pull tab to release connectors in densely populated panels.
Specify these as separate assembly types rather than parts of one supplied kit. Define the fibre type and interface at every end, plus overall length and any harness furcation length. Panel polarity, connector orientation and access method must match the installed system.
