Fibre patch cords provide removable optical links between active equipment, patch panels and work-area outlets, while pigtails provide a connectorized end for termination or splicing. Available choices include single-mode or multimode fibre, simplex or duplex cord forms, and ST, SC, FC or LC connector families.
Build each assembly from the receiving interfaces at both ends. Connector type and PC, UPC or APC polish are end-specific choices, and they must match the adapters and optical system. Also define fibre grade, jacket diameter and finished length for the intended routing.
