The BeneFusion i Series includes iSP and iVP for infusion applications. Its flat-design interface presents key parameters, while a personalized large-font view changes how essential information is displayed. Select the pump model and interface configuration according to the intended departmental workflow. The family also presents specialized infusion modes whose required allocation should be specified for the selected pump.8
Departmental library and syringe loading
A customized departmental drug library is described for different care units. For iSP specifically, BolusGUARD is an automatic clutch technology associated with syringe loading. Include the required library configuration and iSP syringe-loading workflow in the equipment specification.8
Hospital data integration
The i Series supports centralized infusion data management through hospital HIS and CIS connections. Listed integration functions include centralized viewing of infusion and patient vital-sign information, access to infusion and alarm information, and HIS/CIS/EMR access through HL7. Specify the intended hospital-system interfaces and central monitoring arrangement together with the chosen iSP or iVP configuration.8
