The BeneFusion u Series brings uSP, uDSP and uVP into one infusion family for configuration selection. A flat-design interface presents key parameters, and a personalized large-font view displays essential information. The family is described for varied clinical environments, including patient transfer. Specify the required pump model and display configuration for the intended workflow.9
Loading and relay functions
BolusGUARD is the automatic clutch technology described for syringe loading on uSP/uDSP. The u Series also supports circular and customized relay infusion. Define which pumps take part in the relay arrangement and the required configuration.9
Connected monitoring
Integration functions include centralized monitoring of infusion and patient vital-sign information, together with access to infusion and alarm information. HIS, CIS and EMR access is described through the HL7 protocol. Include the hospital interfaces and centralized monitoring arrangement in the specification alongside the selected pumps and relay requirements, so that the device and information-system configurations are defined together.9
